The California Commission on Disability Access (CCDA) is hosting Listening Forums in locations throughout the State to address various issues facing citizens and businesses of California regarding disability issues.  Next week in Sacramento on March 13, the CCDA, along with local legislators, will host a forum to discuss parking accessibility issues, including the DMV Disabled Parking Placard Program; and solutions to deter the misuse of disabled parking placards while maintaining access for individuals with disabilities.

CBPA Vice Chair Doug Wiele serves as the business representative on the CCDA and encourages you to attend.  If you own or manage a property with a parking lot, this forum may be worth your time to attend in person or watch via the web.
